On my Incredible I always had the battery widget by geekyouup and it would show the exact percentage of my battery. On the Bionic it just goes by tens, so it'll be 90 80 70 etc.. I tried the battery solo widget as well and got the same thing. Anything I can do to change that? it's kind of annoying to me because I'm so used to how it was on my Incredible.

you could try circle battery widget. Seems to Estimate the 1% increments pretty accurately.

Yep, Circle Battery Widget is actually where I learned that you could get the 1% battery delta on a Moto Droid-class phone.

I use battery monitor x, shows battery in 1% increments. Worked great on my Droid X and also on the Bionic.

Thank you!

The battery widgets can't get the exact percentage from the system because of something with Motorola's system and how it reports the batter percentage. Same with most Motorola phones

There's actually a file called charge_counter that records the 1% delta value vs. the capacity file which only records the 10% delta. I'm guessing that this is true for the Bionic too since its like that for the Moto Droid phones.

I use BattMonX by scary alien, it works good. It works on status bar.

Thank you, too! (you guys rock!) :)

Several apps will mostly likely show a 1% delta for your Bionic:

- Circle Battery Widget
- my app (BattMonX)
- Battery Monitor (Simmo Publications)

I'm sure there are others, too.

Cheers!
