Hey,

I got my Galaxy S2 (l9100) yesterday and my friends told me that it is best to root the phone and remove unnecessary applications.
So basically, I mistakenly removed the stock media player. I tried restoring the phone to basic factory settings but it did not do anything with the apps.

Is there any way to restore stock apps?

Thanks in advance.

im sure a factory reset should do it. however, if ur rooted, u should be familar with flashing firmware via Odin.. flash ur firmware again.. and re-root. flashing the firmware should install the stock apps again

You mean that I should apply a stock firmware and then re-root?
Because right now I am using some guide from xda-developers, and I just want to make sure I am not doing a mistake
