Does anyone else have a wobbly Droid?

First off, yes, I'm completely OCD regarding my phone.

Second, this phone has never been dropped in any way.

My Droid's bottom case seems very slightly warped. You can actually see it in the way the battery door sits in that its not flush with the case on the side where the camera is located.

It also wobbles a bit when sitting on a completely flat service. Yes, I have to touch it to make it wobble, but it does not sit completely flat. I've even tried removing the battery door and battery.

The phone itself and the slider both operate perfectly.

I'm way out of my 30 days, so I think Verizon would just laugh at me if I complained about this and I don't think it's worth attempting to make a warranty issue out of it.

It just bugs me and I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this.

I'm actually thinking of buying a case (Seido probably) to see if that will make it sit flat.

You should be able to bend the little pieces of metal that latch it in I think. Do this with caution though. I think you can also order a new battery door from VZ for like $5.

btw, was always curious what you avatar is from AoT?
You can order an "inproved" battery door from Motorola suppot for free. You'll get it in 5-7 days from ordering. The folks over at Motorola are great to deal with, too!

It's not the battery door.

The Droid wobbles with both the battery door and the battery removed.

The phone functions perfectly and the slider works perfectly.

It's just me being OCD. I'll put it on the desk, think about it wobbling and then poke at it and see it wobble.

It wobbles without the battery and battery door.

My username and avatar are both from a 1978 episode of Doctor Who called.... "The Androids of Tara" with Tom Baker as the 4th Doctor.
