Looking for a syncing e-mail/calendar app

Hey all, I'm a newbie to smartphones and have a Droid X2. I'm trying to find a program/app that I can use on my desktop and phone. I have to use my corporate e-mail address and want to be able to sync my calendar. I currently use Windows Live but am willing to switch in order to make it work. E-mail currently syncs fine but I can't figure a way to add the Windows Live calendar or a way to add my corporate e-mail account to gmail. Ideally I'd like to find something that syncs automatically.

If you can push your email to gmail (check with your IT department), there are a number of applications that will sync the calendar. I use Smooth Calendar, which is freely available on the market. It's the only one I'd suggest but others may have different opinions and programs they'd suggest.
