Help Movies (aka Flixster)

Does anyone else have problems rating movies? Whenever I try to rate a movie, the program crashes. The app has been updated a few times over the last couple of months, but it still seems to crash on my phone whenever I try to rate a movie.

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but that doesn't solve anything.

Am I the only one?

I haven't registered with them to rate movies. I will try it later and get back to you. I also have Fandango to compare the too.

Does Fandango let you rate movies? I thought it was strictly for buying tickets. If it's more than that, I guess that'd be an alternative to Flixster's app.

here works, using 2.4 on htc tattoo
but the big problem is that after logging in with the flixster account and you close it, you need to log again EACH time.
I tried to write the dev two times, they didn't answer me back

Yeah I've had this same issue. The app crashes consistently every time I try to rate a movie after logging in to flixter. Haven't tried the facebook login from the app. yet. I was hoping the update would fix this but no such luck. Maybe the upgrade to 2.1 next month will do it. If not I guess we're out of luck. I suppose I'll have to write down what upcoming movies I'd like to see with pen and paper. Oh the horror!!

update:
Tried logging in with facebook to rate movies only to be hit with the same "force close" error. I guess this app still needs work on the moment. Send feedback to the developers about this issue. Hopefully they do something about it.

Have been in touch with the developers and a fix is in the works. Will be testing soon.

Update #3: LOL

Tested an alpha build of the next release for the developer and this issue (force close) seems to be resolved. Full functionality rating and reviewing movies logged into Flixter or Facebook. Still to address persistent login issue...

I'm trying 2.5 and login issue is still there !
I can't believe it's so hard to fix it...plus I couldn't get ONE answer from the devs,

2.6 should be the version with the fix. I tested the alpha version. Not sure when it's due to be released. I contacted them with this address:

I just recently dumped Netflix for poor bluray support. Is there any chance that the devs will integrate blockbuster online?
