Hello, I've broken my Nexus S and if I fail in repairing it I'm looking at getting a Motorola Attrix to replace it as I've seen a really good offer.

I've had a quick search and found that the downside are that it's shipped with android 2.2 and motoblur isn't very good. However that's not too important as I'll probably root it and use a custom ROM anyway. On the plus side it has better specs than the Nexus S and has HD video capture. So all in all I'm quite impressed.

Anyway, I'm just wondering is the Atrix a good phone?

HD vid capture @ 720p and not 1020p

For the price it's @ now (on ebay), I think it's worth it :) Although the SGS2 is supposed to be released on AT&T pretty soon so if you can wait for that to come out and play with it ;)

I had a HTC smartphone in the past. Also I know about its models. I should say HTC manifactures smooth, fast, and reliable devices, EXCEPT for battery life, which is one of the most crucial features. With Atrix 4G, you can do anything you want to, as any highend phone does. Plus, it has a great battery life. You will not regret buying atrix. It is relatively cheap compared to other brands.

I just bought a new one on Ebay. Much cheaper than the Galaxy S2 and very similar specs. In addition I don't care for the Atrix 2 because of the larger screen (4 inches is my personal preference) and the Atrix 2 lost the fingerprint scanner and half of it's storage. I think now is a great time to buy an Atrix. It still has descent specs and it has been out long enough for the price to come down and a good number of accessories/cases are out for it.
