Help Accidentally uninstalled stock HTC weather app - HELP!!!

The other day I accidentally deleted the stock HTC weather app from the application drawer....
My weather still updates but I am unable to open it to refresh the widget faster or change any settings...

Is there any way to get it back without doing a factory reset?!?!?!

I've seen where developers have the Weather.apk file on some forums, but none work.....

Any suggestions??!?!!?

If you have HTC Hub, you can get the widget and other widgets there.

correct me if I'm wrong here, but dont you have to have HTC Hub on your phone in order to access the features that are available.
I know before I rooted my phone that the Hub was not available due to VZW wanting you to download from their site and I did not get it till I switched Roms on the phone

Actually, that's right. I left out the part about having to be rooted. I believe Verizon didn't include HTC Hub with the Dinc2. Thanks. :D

Yea thats true lol....

Any other suggestions on how I could get this app back without a factory reset?!?!

Thanks

Are you rooted?
did you do any backups of your setup?
Titanium backup or Nandroid backup..
you can restore from that if you did..
or download one of the roms that are available and see if you can pull the file out that you need and restore it that way

Sorry I thought you were already.
Lets try this..
Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All...look for weather and see if you can restore it that way

Yep when i follow that path you listed the app is definitely there but the size is 0 bites and i cant do anything except view the version number of the weather app.......

It seems as if the app is installed but there is no data associated with it?!?!

I'd say this is a sign that it's time to root. Given you were already leaning that way. If you spend the time doing that you are spending on this issue you will be set free.

I would love to just get the weather app back before i root.... im super busy during the summer and dont really have the time to do it right now...

man how frustrating!!!!!
