I have sold my iPad and Rim has lied on the Playbook so that's going up for sale and now I'm ready for a Android tablet. I'm really close to buying a Galaxy Tab 1O.1 but I would really like to see the Sony S first.
For those that have have the 10.1 how do you feel about the case design is it on the cheap side or do you really like it ?

Thanks...

I guess I'll have to wait until it hits the stores before I do anything and see it in person.

Just wait till you see it in store since that is the best thing to do since you get to use it first before you get it. After looking at that video the Sony one looks awesome too with Play station included which is ance feature which could of sold me to them if they where released at the same time as the 10.1. However I'm happy with my 10.1 and don't regret my purchase

I love my 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1, and I won't trade it for anything else.

With that being said, I think there are several things that you should consider:

1. Sony has been losing their leadership position in almost every category. I cannot name one thing they are number 1 (maybe only BlueRay). Their Play Station is second to XBOX. Their TV set cannot even beat Visio, a new comer. Their cameras are not in the top tier. And neither are their computers.

2. Unlike Samsung who has some experience and lesson learned on making tablets, Sony has never made a tablet before. And with the things that were stated in #1 above, you will trust Sony to do it perfectly right on their first attempt?

I have not seen the Sony tablet, but are we putting too much faith on it? CNET is just one opinion. We cannot rely on just that, can we?

Had some time with the Sony S yesterday and decided that it was heavier and thicker than I wanted. I'm going with the Galaxy Tab 10.1 - just a few grams lighter and the thinner form factor make the difference for me. Battery life on the Tab is rated higher as well. If you want smaller than the 10.1, the 8.9 inch Galaxy tab is set to hit BestBuy on or after 9/25, I'm going to pass since I'm mainly going to use it for web browsing at home and the 8.9's battery is a little smaller.
