Hey all!

I have a HTC Incredible 2 with 2.3.4 installed. My phone is NOT rooted and is running LauncherPro. Yesterday, I left my phone on the couch to go for a run, and when I came back, the screen was on and the only thing I could see was the status bar and the "Slide to Unlock" bar. The phone was unresponsive even after I pulled the battery out. I believe the problem is with LauncherPro since I am able to answer the phone when someone calls but nothing else. I already took the phone into Verizon, and they are shipping me another one. Is there any way I can access my pictures and music that I have on the phone? I think a factory reset would "fix" all my problems, but I would lose all my data.

I'm not quite sure if this will work with stock Android. (My memory is bad, and haven't had the stock recovery in a long time.) My suggestion would be to turn off your device, and boot the phone into the bootloader interface. You can do this by holding volume down and power, until it boots into the bootloader. Select recovery, and mount the sd card.

Once the SD card is mounted you can take any pictures, and music off of your device.

I'll move this post to the Incredible 2 forum just in case my suggestion doesn't work.

After confirming that my phone would not start up and that my pictures were on my SD card, I did a factory reset to see if the problem was simply a software issue. I was able to set up my accounts and activate the phone, but after that, Sense crashed and I am back where I started. However, I found out before my phone crashed that my contacts were in fact backed up. With that in mind, I am ready to get my replacement phone tomorrow. All is well with the world.

pictures and music is on your sdcard, just replace the sd card into your new inc2

are your contacts backed up with google? if so everytime you add a number to your contacts, google backs it up on the servers, and once you activate your new phone, all your numbers start appearing.
