I think its time for a thank you thread to thank the ones who helped them root there phone... A Thank You Goes A Long Way... So My

Thanks to

Chris2183, Kelmar, trparky

I now have a rooted my droid charge phone and love the feel and look of it, I'm running Gummy Charge GBE 2.0 using GO Launcher EX with Honeycomb GO Launcher Theme, Memory booster light, Juice defender, Swype 3.0

I didn't like my benchmarks from using Quadrant I got a 1382 when on mobile data and I got a 1290 when on just WIFI when having both on in which I don't think you can do I ran a 1317 I'm wondering how I can make these better when I hear people getting over 2000, heard this is really not a big deal but I will say my battery wow what a change I can go all day on a full charge using text, calls and even used GPS once, a big or should I say huge improvement in my battery... if there is anyone else that can give me some power tips would be wonderful...

Thanks To The Guys Mentioned above;) I have a cool running phone now.. I like this better then my HTC DINC,

Any inputs on the new thunderbolt 2 coming out??????

Glad I could help :D

Your quadrant scores are fine, those who are getting 2000+ scores are using overclocked kernels.

OK, didn't know that, I would not feel safe overclocking my device just changing what I did has done wonders, Snappy and great battery life now I'm just going to keep it the way it is for a while and hope nothing happens but so far all works, maybe a few apps acting up giving me a fc but nothing I'm worried about if they keep up I will trash them....

Again Thanks.... I'm glad I did this just was confusing at first

Whats your take on this ROM Humble 3.1 Gingerbread 9-18-2011

How easy is it to install being I am new to this and I'm looking to see and feel whats new out there, if not to much of a problem what would be the steps in getting this to work in my phone.. I found this online
[ROM] [EP1W] Humble 3.1 Gingerbread 9-18-2011 - xda-developers

And was wondering what steps do I take in getting this to work I'm kinda confused. I'm reading people are getting more ram is this true... and would love to have more of that, but I am reading a few fc's to so far what I am running I have no issues seems faster and I get no fc's you think I should try this out or keep what I have...

Thanks

It's not the overclocking kernels, but rather the voodoo-capable kernels. The speed boosts come from changing the filesystem from RFS to EXT4. I'm currently running Humble 3.1 with IMoseyON's EP1W kernel with voodoo enabled. My phone isn't overclocked. I'm getting Quadrant scores in the 2200s. Personally, I find AnTuTu to be a better benchmark, though, as Quadrant is fairly CPU heavy and easy to fool.

Im not familiar with IMoseyON's EP1W kernel, but his EE4 kernel is overclocked as well as imnut's PBJ OTB kernel

Stock my quadrant was approximately 900. With jt1134's stock kernel with voodoo my quadrant was around 1400

PBJ OTB was giving people 2K+ quadrant scores, I am sure the same is true for IMoseyON's EE4 kernel. But like I said I am unfamiliar with the EP1W kernel and I assumed it was OCed as well

Menu/settings/about phone - check the stuff at the bottom ;)

I always use shootme to take screen shots but last I heard, it was removed from the market. You can also use drocap (sp?) or push and hold the back button then tap the home key.
