I come from dx and i have never tried cm7. I am looking forward to trying it out. I do hear that the battery life is not the best with this.

Compared to stock ROMs for phones that have not / cannot be upgraded to GB, yes, the battery life can suck, b/c GB built off of AOSP is highly aggressive in terms of killing tasks so other tasks can run. On my DROID, it was eating my battery in 5-8 hours max - but I had a lot of apps that ran tasks / services in the background.

However, the BIONIC comes with GB stock, so this may not apply to the BIONIC at all. Just hearing it's bad for battery life without knowing why it's bad for battery life doesn't help. It's entirely possible that, so long as you do not overclock, CM7 could actually be beneficial to your phone's battery life.
