Navigation like Droid 1?

Does the bionic have navigation like droid 1 did? i cant seem to find it. Only thing i see is vzw navigator bloatware and they want you to pay for it. I liked my d1 all i had to do was say navigate to...... and it would bring it up and go.

It does, in Maps, when you choose "give me directions " but it seems to be stripped down some - for instance, i cant figure out how to voice search for a place while in car dock/ maps which pretty much ruins hands off.

Are you talking about in the app drawer, the app called "Navigation"? Its there for me. Or are you talking about holding down the search button for more than a second and saying "navigate to......". That also works for me. The navigation app can't be deleted so if its not there, there is something wrong. You can also hold down the search button for more than a second to get the voice prompt and say "map of........" If you have bubble buttons turned on in maps (it's under labs in settings), you can then just press on the navigation button from there.

As noted in previous replies, the stock navigation still exists.

• In Car Dock mode you have the navigation button
• In the App Drawer you have the Navigation app
• Using the Google Search app, press and hold the search key for longer than a second
• using the Swype KB, press the microphone key.
