It's coming.... soon. "Soon" does not imply any particular date, time, decade, century, or millennia in the past, present, and certainly not the future. "Soon" shall make no contract or warranty between LG and the end user. "Soon" will arrive some day, LG does guarantee that "soon" will be here before the end of time. Maybe. Do not make plans based on "soon" as LG will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at "soon".

I read that Sprint began rolling out the GB update to the Optimus S phones on 9/14 over a 10 day period. Can VM updating the V be far behind ( since VM USA is Sprint)?


It depends on how smoothly the update goes for their customers. They don't push it out for everyone at once, but in waves instead. So like the first wave of customers will get theirs... then Sprint waits for the customer service calls to come in where people are asking for help or whatever with the new update. Once that calms down and their customer service departments aren't bogged down with calls anymore, they'll push the second wave. Rinse and repeat. It's a long process and one we will have to be patient with. ;)
