Amazon Appstore purchases: Does the Market know you've bought an app?

If I buy an app in the Amazon Appstore, say... SetCPU, will the normal Android Market know that I have bought the app?

I've gotten that free 2 dollar credit from Twitter for the Amazon Appstore, that's why I'm asking.

Please excuse my ignorance. I've done a bit of searching, but haven't found an answer to this particular question, even with my mad Google Skillz.

Google

Found him! :D

Danaj is right though, both Markets don't know what you've downloaded and installed from the other.

Well, that kinda sucks. I'm not in a position to buy apps, so this $2 is a chance to buy at least one, but the apps on the Appstore are frequently outdated. SetCPU is at least 3 versions behind.

My Market on my Evo 3d didnt recognize the apps I downloaded from the Appstore at first, but after I downloaded the new Market apk everything I got from the Appstore shows up on my list of installed apps just like the apps I downloaded directly from the Android Market. I dont know if the apps are recognized when its time to upgrade, but Executive Assistant+, Widgetlocker and others are listed as installed with the option to [Open Uninstall] when I view them from the Market on my device just like all my other apps.
