Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

Latest build...

Linkpack @ 480/806 Mid 9s

Quadrant @ 480/806 1100+

I can't seem to find a way to delete video. Pictures still has the delete option..??

I've never been able to delete from the video folder, only from galleries. I'll look into it if I have some extra time, but it may be that way for some reason whe don't know.

WOW, how peculiar! I was just reading up on the v6 supercharger and was thinking of setting it up on my phone.. THANKS FOR READING MY MIND!

I only included the items in the build.prop from the supercharger script. I still recommend using the full script. I first run option 9, then option 12, and my phone runs smooth as butter.

New build is running fine. Clear button is green for some reason, and the location toggle in the pull down menu is greenish. Also, it'd be cool if there was a way to make the time align right again. My notifications that appear on the top bar overlap with it.
The green button and icons where an accident, I copied them to the wrong folder, will have them fixed in the next build. I will look into making the clock position user changeable, maybe in the next build, no promises.

I don't even see the delete option when opening from the gallery. This only affects video for some reason
In the gallery, while looking at a wall of videos/pics, long press on one of them and it will get a check mark. You can then press on others and they will also get a check mark. Once any one has a check mark, the delete option should appear at the bottom of the page.

Any luck on fixing the bug that you can't dial when the phone number has a +1 in front of the area code? I travel a bit over seas and have a couple phones all tied to my google account so I have synced contacts on all of them and while overseas, I need the +1 in front of the number to call the states. It's never been a problem with the stock rom or almost any other phone I've used but strangely and unfortunately it doesn't work on this rom which sadly is a deal breaker for me. :( I've noticed people mention it before in this thread but not that it's been fixed or even being addressed.

Anyways, thanks for the help and keep up the great work on this rom. I really enjoyed it the few times I tried it out until I realized I was unable to make phone calls with it :(

So far the only problem I'm having is the clock overlapping with the notifications, and (not that big of a deal) the clock isn't centered when in landscape mode, other than that, it runs alot smoother than previous builds and more responsive. I'll conduct various battery life tests as I continue using this build.
Keep up the good work jerryscript!

Oh um.. what do you mean by "only included the items in the build.prop"? Any chance you could help me with setting up the full script with this ROM specifically? :D

Just download the supercharger tweaks script, and run it with whichever script app you like, ScriptManager or Gscript etc. I then personally run option 9, then option 12, seems to be the best settings for the OV.

I just updated to the new build after booting into recovery and flashing cache and Dalvik cache (I used the older ClockworkMod one from the 1st post of this thread) and then I also flashed Gapps again. I then rebooted the phone twice. Should the market app show up in my apps drawer now? I don't see it anywhere. I was not asked to sign in again (for Google) but I do have my contacts showing with no problem. I have the Market app backed up with Titanium backup but it shows as a system app and I thought it would be a big no-no to restore any system apps or data. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Another questions concerning this ROM. After flashing this ROM all the bluetooth devices I had paired with in the past disappear from my settings. Is there a file or data that would be safe to restore using Titanium backup that would have this data? Should I just go through the process of paring with them again to be safe? Thanks.

Some more info on my problem with the Market app not being on my phone after flashing the latest Backside build:

I went into the Market on my PC and when I clicked on sign in it automatically signed me in and recognized my device. I installed an app (at least it appeared that way) and had no issues at from the PC end. However on the phone there was never any download taking place and the app was not there - nothing in the notification bar about downloads or installs. My WiFi is on and working with other apps. So.. anyone know why the Market app is not on my phone now after flashing the latest build? Can I install the Market from my backup in Titanium backup (it shows it as a system app)?

Thanks.

The dialer in this ROM doesn't support "assisted dialing". Still my only complaint, Jerry. everything else is great. Except for the clock blocking my SMS notifications.

You need to flash gapps I believe.

Where do you get all that super charger stuff?
edit: I found the script but there's 2 update7 and update 8 which do I use.

Use 8
and install script manager from the market.
move the scripts to your SD card (not in any folders)
Run script manager
locate and open the script
Make sure "run as root" is checked and run at boot is NOT checked
and run
chose a number 1-3 for scroll speed (tap anywhere on the screen to bring up touch pad)
choose you option (recommended "9")
reboot.
repeat, (recommended "12")
press home key and your set.

I know you said you flashed gapps when you installed the ROM, but it doesn't sound like it flashed properly. Go back into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, then flash gapps again. I recommend you use the gapps I link to in my first post, they are the ones distributed by CyanogenMod, so they should work fine with my build since it's kanged from CM7.

Out of curiosity, if you click your menu button and choose manage applications, then select the all tab, does the market show? If it does, it's a borked install so click on it and clear it's cache and data. If it doesn't appear, it didn't install at all. Be sure when you flash gapps in recovery there is no error or status message.
