credit return on Bionic

I bought my Bionic on launch day at best buy for $300, yesterday I went there to look for a movie and I saw it was only $230 now! So I asked someone working there if I could get credited the difference I paid. She said yes! So I got 75.98 credited back into my account. I dont know if they're doing this anywhere else but if you bought your phone from best buy i recommend going back and doing this.

i got a $270 credit on my Bionic today. i called Verizon and said i don't want this POS. when i buy a new phone (as soon as something better comes out) ill get my $30 restocking fee back. plus i didn't wait till oct 24th to get my full $100 discount on upgrade but i didn't care about that i just wanted a good phone but the Bionic failed me.
had the camera correctly focused i would have kept it. I take way to many pics with my phone so this just wouldn't cut it.

The camera can easily be fixed with a software update. Every phone will have issues I am sure the vigor will also have issues when it releases.

Yeah but Motorola had a long time to fix whatever problems came up. The camera can be fixed but the screen will struggle until you upgrade.

wierd. I was very impressed with the way my bionics camera focused. was much better than my droid incredible's camera.

well im still using my old thunderbolt but i plan to get the new one, unsure what they are gonna name it yet. but it seems i got a months wait if not more.

I wish there was a way to unthank posts. So tired of people coming into the Bionic forums just to complain. Even more so trying to hi-jack perfectly good threads with said complaints. Go post in the vigor forums about how much it's gonna be better than the Bionic because truthfully I don't care. I'm happy with my phone.


Sorry, just used to browsing the X forums, and I never had every other post I read be a complaint about the phone from people who took it back or never bought it in the first place.

Well, we can get this thread back on track because I believe it's a useful tip for people who bought their Bionic at BB. Some people might not know about BB's price guarantee. So if they bought their Bionic at $299.99 at BB they can for sure get some money back. $230 for the Bionic is a great price for this type of phone.
To add to his tip, I believe BB will also price guarantee products that you buy at BB if you find a cheaper price than theirs. For example, I think if you bought the bionic or plan to buy the Bionic at BB you can show them that Radio Shack has it for $199.99 for new or upgrading customers and they'll price match that price for even more savings.

Just thank the OP for providing this useful tip about BB's price drop and price guarantee credit.

I didn't know they price matched, so I can possibly get like another 30 bucks back? I'll have to look into it, I hope the fact that I already got $75 back wouldn't effect that.

Yup they do. It's weird that their policy says that they don't price match internet prices but when I bought my D1 from them they priced matched a price I found on the internet. I guess just as long it's not an internet only price then they should be able to price match. Radio Shack has actual stores so I think you should be good.

The girl I talked to over the phone from best buy was confusing. I think she was saying if I go to best buy and she calls radio shack and they confirm its 199.99 off the shelf, they'll match the price. I went to radio shack to get one of their advertisement papers and The Bionic wasn't even listed in there! The guy working there did confirm that The Bionic is 199.99 though. I'm going to best buy next week and see if I can get the price matched because she said I can do it with in 30 days. If your friend goes to a best buy mobile in a mall or something it should be selling for $218 right now. If she goes to an actual best buy it'll be $230.
