I have an LG Optimus V. How do I 'undo' a 'force stop' on 'Account and Sync Settings'?

Steps I did for the 'force stop:'

Home
Manage Applications
Running
Account and Sync Settings
Force Stop

Now the Account and Sync Settings only shows up under 'All' and I cannot reactivate it.

No one seems to have an answer, including Tech Support @ Virgin Mobile. Is it possible to get this application running again? If not, what are my options?

What function does this app perform? I am unaware of anything I use not working properly. I'd like a useful answer please.

It syncs your Gmail, Facebook, Twitter or whatever account you add that you want synced. If it's not turned on, then it wont grab the information from your account and update it on your phone. The ops (ducatielle) Sync is not working since he/she force closed it.. he/she cannot get it to turn back on.

Do you know this (if so, how?) or are you just assuming?

Try opening the app from My Apps in Playstore. Open Playstore, click top left and select My Apps, scroll down the list of your unstalled apps, select the one you want and you should see an option to open it. Do so and if you're lucky, it will open and undo the force stop at the same time. It worked for me - hope it does for you!
