Help How do you get movies onto this phone?

Why don't you try your videos with one of this media players. They'll play more formats than the gallery player.

And so there would be no need to convert videos on PC :)

Harry
I need to convert regardless because the movies I have to add are all greater than 2 gigs and wider than 800 pixels, which according to the tutorial it doesnt support BUT I will try moboplayer now. Does it have a widget?

Ok Im happy with this app :) Excuse me while I thank all your posts

Now, last two questions:

1) When you tick save brightness and volume, does it ONLY apply to this app when you open it? Or the whole phone in general?

2) You know how you can make the video go full screen? Would this have the same effect on the quality as if you would change the aspect ratio to be full screen?

1) Only for the app.

2) I'm afraid you have to wait for a video expert :)

All you posts have been thanked, last thing then.

I tried playing a 2.5 gig file, 1280 pixel wide in the app. MP4

The video/sound didnt display (black screen) and the seconds jumped in 3's (2:33, 2:36 etc.)

I tried playing playing a 1.67 gig, 800 pixel wide in the app. MP4. converted file that I mentinoed above.

Worked perfect.

I have a htc sensation 4g.

Is this normal?

Yes, it's this 2GB limit.

For videos larger than 2GB I use VitalPlayer.
You could try it too.
But the player isn't such a thing of glamorous as the MoboPlayer ;)
