Well I am coming back to Android!!! I am so excited. After a brief stint in Appleville I caught myself staring down the Bionic and took the plunge. Really miss a lot about Android since I have been gone. Very excited to get my phone tomorrow and send this iPhone 4 packing...

What can I expect from this phone? I am coming from the Droid X as far as Android is concerned. I have purchased the extended battery as well so I will hopefully have the battery life issues nipped in the butt right off the get go. What else can I expect from this phone???? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.:D

Welcome back! My only recommendation would be to buy (from Verizon) the Black plastic shell case/snap in holster combo (around $27). It's the only one that fits with the extended battery. It also has a kick stand that also you can have open when navigating with one hand (one finger thru the kickstand stops you from dropping it).

Are you coming home or are you stopping by?!!??:p jk

Well you should feel right at home if you're coming from the DX. Almost the same form factor, rooting and romming methods seem similar and it's the same manufacturer. Now, let me ask you....Are you ready for some LTE goodness? Or badness depending on your coverage.

-I'm not sure if you ever bought the HDMI cable for your DX but it should work for the Bionic, right? Because if it does, as far as I have seen online, Mirroring mode is pretty sweet.

-The Stock UI seems totally improved from the DX's version of Moto's UI.

Enjoy your Bionic!

Coming from the X myself, you can expect the X with better specs. I am not in a LTE city yet so I have mine set to 3G and get better battery life with the stock battery, which should be expected since the battery is a little bigger.

The screen is not as crisp in some settings as the X, however this screen is a lot brighter and a lot better on the battery. Minimum on the Bionic is like about 40% on the X and I can go outside with about 40% on the Bionic and be fine.

While the X was fast, this thing flies with the dual processor. Camera is better IMO and the HDMI out is great, no app is needed to get it to work and you can still see the screen on the phone. I have also seen up and down speeds between 2x and 3x better than on the X.

The X is a nice phone still, but this is an upgrade from the X.

Oh and Welcome Back!

I actually almost bought one of those today with the phone and didn't. I will have to grab one, thanks.
