I'm right next to Atlanta so I'm gonna try the OTA update now...I'll be back with results.:D

RESULTS: After the OTA update my PRL went from 3022 to 3019...:(
I'm gonna take another crack at it but I fear the same results.

Tried it again from a more "wide open" outdoors area and still 3019

what rom are you on???

@TweeksRevenge, just read your results - yeah same thing happened to me yesterday:mad: - I'm on CM7 also - now updated with QSPT to 3022 - may want to try 3023 once again (maybe)

Not sure if you're using this - but this thread is very helpful for updating your PRL: http://androidforums.com/lg-optimus-m/394106-update-optimus-m-prl-using-qpst.html#post3238740

I updated reverting back to a 2.2.1 based ROM. Reason being: when I was using CM7 based ROMs after the OTA *228 update my phone would not automatically restart itself...try that. Then after it went to 3023 and reflashed back to the CM7 2.3.5 based ROM...FYI

Great- Thanks for FYI (good to know) and may try it sometime this week. Being on CM7, my phone did reboot everytime after *228 updating - was wondering if that was normal -Thanks again :)

After all this talk about the prl 3023, I decided to look at mine, and I have it. It was pushed to my phone, I didn't have to do any thing to get it. FYI, I'm running reppard's CM7. I looked yesterday, and it was still 3020.

Oh, maybe that's what happened w me (pushed). And you're getting 3G? Mine just stayed @ 1x so I reverted back - now stays 3G. Wondering if I had selected CDMA only if I would have gotten 3G consistently, hmmm

Yes, I'm getting 3G. I've been getting 3G since I had prl 3020, but it was spotty. For several days now, it's been more consistent 3G even with the lower prl. I think Metro had been updating towers here in the Dallas area, 'cause when I first got it, I couldn't get 3G at my in-laws house, but now do. The new prl just came in over night. I haven't looked at my wife's phone to see what prl she has.

I share the same theory about Atlanta...once I got 3022, 3g was very spotty. It has become a farcry from what it started out to be. I'm hoping I can get this new prl ota...

Quoting this from other 3023prl thread @ main LG OptM forum:

In case someone might be able to extract their "3023 prl" # :)

Yeah, back in August a Metro insider told me the EVDO was coming to Atlanta "in October". Well, it's almost October now.
