Root [BETA]Cyanogen!! Landed!!! :) Go get it![Updated 7/12/2011]

I don't have this problem. This is my first time trying this ROM but I flashed the 78 build. Try flashing the newer build see if that fixes your problem.

Thanks for the reply. I tried flashing back to CM nightly build 78 from MIUI and I got an unresponsive device.

SBFing to .340 now and will go through the whole root, upgrade process again. :(

Edit: Running CM nightly #78 now. Even restored data from my backup of #77, and the backlight problem seems to be gone. Thanks. :)

Soooo, after being off the intertubes for a week or such (due to moving into a new house...) What is the status of CM7 as far as the build and all? I don't really have a ton of time to search through the posts on this thread, since I still have a lot of unpacking to do.
What issues are still there? What is the accepted method of updating? Do I still have to flash a fix for things, or has most of that been introduced in the nightlies?
Been running on nightly 69 with the all-in-one fix and the radio update.
Anything new worth flashing on the nightlies?

If you're fine as-is right now, just wait for the CM7 GB kernel, which you'll be able to get to just by flashing a nightly, soon. Sometime in the next week I guess: official_dx_kernel_update_on_the_horizon

Well, I thought it was an app, but it appears to be a cm7 setting. I had "pulse notifications in order" checked. I thought it would, for example, pulse blue then green for a text then email, but even if I had one notification, it wood pulse every color available. I unchecked that setting and everything seems to be back to normal. Fyi, it affects 75 as well as 78.

Actually some site was hacked a week and a half ago so there have been no nightlies for any phone since then. I can't remember all the details.
that was kernel.org that got hacked (home of the linux kernel src). That prolly held him up for a few days, but the are a few work around now, including CM being on github. My guess is he got distracted with another project while he wasnt able to do anything n now hasnt got back to it. :\

True, but the nightlies haven't been built for awhile. I'm sure we will be all good once the nexus prime is out. :-\

Have any of you guys had issues with sensor usage in Spare Parts on these ROMs? I was on Liquid and noticed my battery getting really hot anytime I used the phone. Checked out Spare Parts and saw Android System using the sensor whenever the screen is on, which I definitely didn't see before...

I flashed .602 SBF and flashed RevNumber's latest GB ROM, and I'm still seeing it. I DIDN'T flash the all-in-one fix... is that still needed?

No. and nothing has been done to fix the camera issues either. Dead rom, IMO.

Ignore the "official" version of CM7 until cvpcs decides to pop back up and update the kernel. Until then use RevNumbers' unofficial builds. All the fixes are included plus more. It is kind of frustrating that cvpcs pretty much left us to twist in the wind, but I guess he thinks having Rev as a pressure release valve is buying him time. He gave us 2init so I can forgive for now. :)
