Market not working after uninstalling the stock market application

Hi,

I had uninstalled the Market using Titanium back up and reinstalled the market using .apk i got on the internet. However now when i open the market it shows an error "The application Market (process com,andrioid.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and force close.


My phone is rooted and i use link2sd to move apps downloaded from market to SD card.

Please help me to restore android market.

I would suggest a factory reset, which should recover the market, also you could try to re download the apk and reinstall, it could be a corrupted file.

Btw are you using the latest version of the market? because that is only compatible with android 2.2 and 2.3, if you are on the stock 1.6 or 2.1 it will not work, and you could get these force closes.

Thanks for responding. I did the factory reset but it didnt help. I dont see the stock market after the reset. I downloaded an new apk and tried to install but still getting the same error.

Any other suggestions would be helpful. Please help

somwhr i read the below. but im not sure how to go abt it....

***are you using ta utility(cache2sd app) ? if so , move your market cache back to your phone , then back to your sd . are you having problems with the browser also ?***

Can anybody tell me how to move the cache from sd to memory card. where would i find the market cache??

I had the same issue with galaxy ace... I followed the instructions given on

forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1391801 [add http] and it worked great...
