Android questions (was Preparing for Android)

Boy have you got will power. :D

Waiting for android OR WHAT? What if it wasn't available?

It's all about the apps you install. My wife's Nook color is 8 gb internal and 8 gb external storage (sdcard) running CM7. Most apps are installed on the interal 8 gb, but some large apps are on the sdcard. I've only run out of space when I create a lot of backups in recovery. (Entire rom is backed up)

I fired up my wife's 16 gb TP and it says "13.3 GB available", if that helps any.

I moved this to a new post. :D

I've opened my 32GB TP but I barely use it. It's essentially useless to me until there's a stable Android build on it. I mean the GUI of it is amazing and I really love it. But the app catalog is just a major fail. It has like 1000 apps. If WebOS had an app catalog that was comparable in size to apple or Android, it would be one of the top tablets out there, probably beating Apple, and it would be pretty close to Android.

In my personal opinion, you're not missing much by not opening it. But you may like it. Who knows?

I disagree. My 7" Galaxy Tab rarely gets used any more. It's all about use case though I think. It all depends on what apps you want/need. The apps I want/need can be found in the WebOS app catalog. So to me it's a good device. If the apps you want/need aren't there, then the device is going to suck even if the catalog had a million apps in it.

What WebOS apps do you use?
