Help Getting my home Wifi connection back on my Samsung Galaxy G2?

Hiya there,

Well this morning rather stupidly I deleted the WIFI connection we use at home from the WIFI connections on my Samsung Galaxy S2 and although I see an option on how I can create a new WIFI connection on the phone, I wondered whether this would be the right thing to do or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi Settings > at the bottom of this screen you'll see a list of available networks. Click on your network, then enter a password if your network has one. If it doesn't, create one!

Then you should be done :)

Thanks very much, but if I've already deleted this, how will it recognise it again when I try and re-create it? (I clicked 'Forget' when the connection appeared this morning by accident)

Thanks again for your help!

When you click forget it just forgets that you've connected to that network before and the password you used. In other words it won't automatically connect to the network when you return home.

It will still display the network in the list of available networks when you go into the settings.

Hopefully it will! If it doesn't, can I add it again manually or won't this work?

Thanks again for all your help!

There's no way to add a WiFi network to the list of available networks, the phone scans and lists all networks in range. If your network doesn't show up there it's because it isn't available and would point to some kind of problem.
