I have to say, I absolutley love this phone! My only complaint is the HDMI out (will not play movies from the Samsung Media Hub). Other than that, this phone is awesome! I don't understand why people are so anxious to get the Gingerbread update ... when it comes, it comes (I am anxious as well, as I know there are many enhancements). However, I am puzzled as to why it is ranked at # 50. I think that this phone should be ranked at least in the top 20. Even though it doesn't have a dual core, the CPU is 1.2 GHZ, and that is plenty fast. The display is just totally amazing as well! I use this phone for work and for personal use. I switched from the iPhone, and am not going back to Apple. Again, I would like to see this phone move up in the ranks (I think it will after it gets the Gingerbread update), but we'll see. Anyone agree with this?

I'm running a modded infuse with gingerbread and 1.6ghz processor....I bet that will rank much higher....and u can mod it too if you want but at your own caution. Think of it this way. Its the best phone available from at&t...until the sgs2 hits at&t stores....

I agree, it has older versions of touch wiz, and android, but I think thats what at&t was aiming for. They pay people tons of money to research sales and demographics... this fõn has the option of downloading 3rd party apps, an option that most andrids don't have. Little things like an extra .2mm on the screen, superamoled plus, touch wiz 3.0 which is somewhat bland very little preloaded apps. This fõn came out of the box, they way I like it. Marketers and sales and demographics people know what they are doing to appeal to a certain type of customer.
I've heard that gs2 UI comes preloaded with tOns of carrier apps and fluff... I don't like that, I like plane, and then let me customize...
I think the fon should be top 20 also, but believe it or not, in the fon category, some critics give points off for screen size...
