Help MetroPCS - myMetroMail problem

I have tried on and off for a month or two to sign up for myMetroMail from my phone. For those that don't know, you sign up by sending a text message GETMAIL to 5555 . I did get to reserve my username through the reply text that Metropcs sent and then the text said to Click here to finish setup, however the link they send doesn't work when I click it. It opens a page in my browser and I get a Web page not available message, the web page might be temporarily down or may have moved, blah, blah. This happens everytime I try to complete the setup, anyone else having this problem? I can't find an alternative way to sign up for a myMetroMail account.

I'm starting to think that for some reason it's an issue w/ my phone, since it seems that the link that Metropcs sends me would work correctly. Here's the link that they send to finish the setup- http://pgw.metropcs.net/eps/?t=4df44bde38d7

MetroMail sucks. It wouldnt work for me from the day I got the phone. Couldnt log in, couldnt link alt emails to it. nothing.

same thing happen to me but they use msn anyway so no biggie...

myMail@Metro doesn't seem to be updated as a very very few percentage even use it.

Try Gmail, as the Android requires Google, great email by itself. Remove the myMail app also when you download Gmail
