Root Will there ever be a 2.3.3 root for EVO

I have a HTC EVO 4G 2.3.3 Baseband version 2.15.00.0808 Kernel Version 2.6.35.10-g13578ee Software Number 4.53.651.1 Anyways I have had this phone for a couple months and haven't had any successful roots. I want to no is there ever going to be a root.... I can't stand not rooting my phone should i just get a new phone???

I am just guessing you havent seen the link that says ROOT FOR GINGERBREAD.....

that guide was made for 2.3.3 with software number 4.24 i believe...and he obviously has the new software....BUT people have reported that they have rooted with revolutionary even with software 4.53 because they never changed the hboot number when they sent out the OTA...if you have hboot 6.16 or 6.17...it should work...but again...im just saying what others have said about it working...

It will work, i just rooted a friends phone with the new updates.
