Root [Theme] Black, White, and Chrome for ApeX 2.0 RC3 GB

So how exactly do I install the theme and clock mod I understand I need to use CWR, but what's the process. Do I go about like I'm flashing a Tom without deleting or wiping. Thanks for any help

Yes, just like a Rom with no wiping or deleting anything. First install the theme and reboot, then come back into CWR and apply the clock mod.

I'm getting an unlock sound when I unlock the phone, is that in the theme somewhere?

Anyway to make the clock brighter?

Can I just flash a 602 deodexer or mod remover zip to get back to no-theme, without restoring my 602 CWR backup?

You can turn off the sound in settings>sound.

Make what clock brighter?

Don't use the .602 deodexer on this. Restore a backup instead.

Hi bouchigo, another noob question:

Can you list the steps to install this? I just installed ApeX 2.0.0 (RC3), so I have the Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap app, and I thought that is what I would use also to install mods and themes. What is "CWR" ?

Also, what are some precautionary steps I should take? You mentioned in this thread to make a backup. Do I do that with Rom Manager or the D2 recovery bootstrap app?

D2 bootstrapper will boot you into CWR (Clockwork Recovery). I suggest you use D2 bootstrapper instead of Rom Manager, but either one will boot you into CWR.

Create a backup once you are in CWR and then apply the theme, nothing special to do.

Anyone else having issue with the PIN not being there every time you turn on? Meaning, I have set PIN NUMBER as my security and screen is off for at least 5 minutes and sometimes it asks for my pin and sometimes it goes straight to Kindle App or Homescreen (depending on what I was doing).

I love not having to unlock screen first just to put my PIN in - just one of many reasons I like this theme so much thanks for your hard work sir!
