samsungs gps Navigator vs google maps ?

Not sure which one is "GPS Navigator" but I have Navigation by Navigon (a Garmin co.) on my SGS2 (Australia). The difference b/w this and Google Maps/Navigation (Blue arrow head icon) is that Navigon will operate offline (has 2-300MB of maps) while Google Map Navigation will not. If you use the Navigation option on Google Maps, it will not operate without an internet connection because it is constantly downloading while you are on the move. A trip across town can rack up 20-30MB of down load.

Perhaps it's the same for the other option you have 'GPS Navigator' ?

I use google maps navigation all the time on my S2. Fantastic spoken turn by turn navigation using google maps and all for free!

One of the main reasons i stick with android.

Ya that is all I use and it rocks love showing it off to my friends with Iphone lol love that it has street view tied into it. I was just wondering if some one used the app that came with the phone.
