HTC tattoo getting overheated

Hello All,

I have purchased HTC tattoo , I am observing that its getting over-heated sometimes(once in a day).

This the second tattoo i am using ,as I was obsering same overheating problem on the first one and i got the replacement of it.
But the second one is also the same.


Any updates from tattoo users??

Mine gets very hot using the build in GPS. However, that might have something to do with the car kit I'm using. Most of the back of the device rests against the car kit so the heat at the back of device cannot escape. Fortunately it did not result into a crash of the device until know. Most of the devices I have previously used (HP Ipaq/Eten X500) suffer from this. Can anything be said regarding the circumstances in your case? Does it overheat while it is idle?

Hi,

It only gets overheated when its idle and it happens once or twice a day. I switched off , remove the battery and then plug it back.
Its the second Tattoo, I am using with same problem. I have other phones also, which get charge from same points, but they never get overheated.
Any suggestions..

My life has become terrible after purchasing this phone.

If it is the second Tattoo that gives you the problem, maybe it's due to a bad application that you installed which is forcing the CPU to work at 100% ?
