Did anyone else buy the incipio case from the verzion store. I thought for the longest time that the bionic had no notification light until I finally figured out it was underneath the case. Has anyone tried to cut the rubber around the case to show the lights? Or try to send it back as a faulty product. Wondering what I should do...

I'm a DIY'er so if it were me, I'd fix it myself.

I think its gonna come down to that...can't believe they would sell a case that covers up a phone's functionality!! grr...
I believe it. I once bought a leather folio case at Wally World for my Touch--and it kept randomly pushing on the button (the goof-balls that designed the case placed a hard object inside the leather, right over the Touch's button), causing the Touch to go wild. Needless to say, I returned it and found joy elsewhere.

oh, and it was a well-known brand, too. sigh.

I used a retractable ballpoint pen as a cookie cutter and punched a little hole in the appropriate location. Looks like it was done at the factory, and works like a charm. I did file the pen down a bit to create a somewhat sharp edge.

I also emailed Incipio - great customer service. They are sending me a feather case for my troubles. I'll probably go to that and use the slicrylic as a backup since the feather looks like it is a better fit for the vehicle dock.
