Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

everytime I try to apply roverblue.apk using zipthemer I get: "Can't find a theme control file in /sdcard/zipthemer/roverblue.apk" and if I select Build ii! I get "load some themes first". Any help would be appreciated.

Install the rover apk if you haven't already then go into the theme app and select the rover theme you will get an error select use anyway

This maybe a noob question, but let's say if I ever decided to sell the optimus v, would it be possible to clear the esn and have a new person re-activate the phone with a new account with this rom, or would I now be stuck with it? lol.

With Virgin Mobile, you just flash back to stock, call VM customer service, and they tell you when to use the Activate option. The Activate option is only available on the Frito based ROMs.

I want a Frito based rom, I love Frito's..... then again maybe not.. I don't want my phone to make a crunch noise when I use it.. :D

Ah c'mon, you could make the feedback sound for touching the screen be a crunch sound. And in my next build I'm going to add smells, do you like the chili flavor best? ;)

Are you kidding, chili flavor is the best, next to tapatio! I'll be looking forward to the next edition to the lay's rom series :D

I've been dying to flash the new rom even more so now with the UI improvements. Was wondering if there would be complications trying to use data2ext over app2sd. I was curious to the differences and if it would be possible to continue to use data2ext since I believe app2sd is already implemented on the build / Bob's kernel. :D

And to my understanding its one or the other but I wasn't 100%

Does data2ext work the same way as link2sd?

I tried the Rover.apk . Everything was hard to see in good light, the battery % I had to really strain to see the small sysmbol, and the other symbols including those in the pulldown were lacking as well. I think I'll stick with JerryScripts Green Machine Theme, it's the easiest to see in good light or bad.

I may just have to make Frito pie for dinner tomorrow.
Now you got me craving Frito pie. And its 12:25 PM Florida Time. I think I might have to make a RUN to Wally World to get the much need main ingredient. Now I'm starting to get so hungry with this talk of food my belly is starting to think my throat's been cut.

why bother selling it, it's selling for new at Best Buy $99 now, if you sell it, it'd be less than that, then there are fees & other stuff. Might as well keep it as a wifi phone or ereader or portable gaming device.

Here's a small problem I've noticed for a long time. In the Facebook app, when you go to your friends list and scroll by letter, the transparency effect on the popup letter is scrambled. This also happens in other apps that use a transparency effect.
That is an issue that cropped up due to commits in the CM7 source tree about a month ago. To be honest, I'm not sure which commit caused it, so it's proving hard to track down.

There is still one issue with the center clock, icon overlap.
notifications no longer overlap which is good. I stumbled upon it while updating my apps. Here's a screen shot to help.....And yes, this is with the latest build.
I believe you just need to extend the barrier to fix this issue.
I'll have to look into the linearlayout. I've created a linearlayout for the clock alone, which seems to be interfering with the groupings. I think I can fix it by adding another linearlayout to group them all together, but it will take some time to test out, each change takes about an hour to build, flash and test, assuming there are no errors in my code. ;)

I wondered why that would happen. It's especially visible in Pulse newsreader. I use this app everyday and sometimes I can barely tell what the headlines say. Hopefully, you'll find the culprit soon. :D
