3G in Lilburn GA after manual update to 3022 prl.

Don't know how many live here in Lilburn, but after updating my phone to the 3022 prl I now have 3G. It does go away at times at certain places in my house that's probably because I barely get any bars in my house but when Im outside I get full bars with the 3G sign.

I am from Atlanta but I live in lilburn, im not sure if Atlanta has 3G though. Lilburn is approximately 30-40 minutes away from Atlanta.

EDIT: By the way when I had 3020 prl I didnt get any 3G, but after then updating to the 3022.prl manually I noticed the 3G signal the next day. If you do the *228 it will just keep you at the 3019 prl so you have to update manually.

Just replace the 3020.prl with the 3022.prl

Yea same here It goes away and comes back depending on what part I am in my house.

3G is on/off in College Park, GA, signal comes, connects every few tries, and goes away maybe a minute later, must be getting close

East Cobb has zero 3g so far. I've had the 3022 prl for a few hours now and still nothing...

Edit: no 3g at my apartment but I'm seeing 3g service when I travel locally. The coverage is less than solid but atleast its finally there!

I get 3G now depending where I am as my actual area doesn't have 3G yet...so do I still need to do this?

edit: nvm, i just checked and my phone says 3022 already. Now I just need to wait for them to finish up my area

Im here in Snellville, trying to get better signal in my house. This is not mine but my wife phone. It is not rooted (not sure if it needs to be to find this), but i cant find any prl on the status menu. so i have no idea what her prl is. In the house her phone only gets one bar and cuts in and out never dropping the call, but cant carry on a conversation. I just did the *228 update (which was done successfully), but there seems to be no difference. Anyone know why the prl isnt listed on this?

NVM I found it 3019.

I suggest you manually update your prl using QPST and get the 3023.prl which will allow 3G, so if your area has 3G.. you will be able to use it with any prl 3020+

Manually Updating your prl isn't hard. Its doesnt require a root. All you need is QPST. We all learned on our own here how to update prls and roots. If you just look around on the forums here you are all set.
