Root Supercharger Advice/Help

Ok so on the xda site I've seen a bunch of different scripts and I'm not sure which one to choose. I was hoping one of you guys here could point me in the direction of the correct file. And any advice on running this stuff.
Go here for V6 supercharger [Script][U9 Beta 6.1] V6 SuperCharger! The ONLY Android MEMORY FIXER! 3G & KAK! - xda-developers
When you set it up and run it for the first time choose your scroll speed then choose 9. Then choose 17(exit) when it says bye bye, exit. Reboot system. When everything looks good and all your app icons have appeared then go back to the script manager and run V6 and choose a scroll speed again! Then choose 12,then 17(exit). Exit, your phone is now super smooth.

So it turns out I have busybox 1.19.2 and went to downgrade it but the first busybox installer doesn't have 1.18.2 and JRummy has a stupid ad over the install button so I can't do anything.

edit: Was able to do it quick enough to beat the ad.

edit 2: I also installed update 9 beta 6.1 because I couldn't find the update 8 mentioned in another thread.

So I think I'm running the scripts now. But already I've had a few force closes on the launcher and that's probably more than I've had in the past month. I think I notice the app drawer scrolling more smoothly but I'm not sure if that's in my head or not. What sort of changes should I see?

If your having force closure's try downloading ROM Manager and running the "Fix permissions" option(this fixed my Launcher Pro force closure issues). The changes you should see are more feel than see. The ROM should feel smoother.
If you are still having force closure issue and the ROM doesn't feel smoother, post everything you did from the Pre-install of the ROM in your recovery to the set up and running the options in V6 Supercharger(Include the build # of the ROM and the gapps you used).

This is why I didn't build it into BACKside-IHO. If there was any direct evidence to support an increase in efficiency or performance, I would give it another look. All this does is change the out-of-memory settings, something the AOSP team spent a lot of time making work right. While I agree anyone can improve on something, I find the lack of actual evidence of improvement to be my deciding factor on not including it. It's been around for months now, and tons of people have done benchmarks, all of which showed negligible if any improvements.

FYI- there are actually instances were this type of change to OOM settings can be detrimental.
