Is the Seido Innocell 1900mAh worth it?

yeah I am kinda on the fence about it b/c of that..i have no battery problems whatsoever and i use it heavily and its OC'd to 1.6

I have it bought it first before I bought larger batteries...Either go for the Seidio 4000...or Gorilla Gadget 3500...Both batteries can easily give you 2 days without a charge...I run Ultimate Juice which helps as well...The Gorilla Gadget battery was $29 at Accessory Swamp...don't know if it still is...It'll give you double the amount of Juice as opposed to the 1900...

I'm getting one because I think my current battery is shot. It got quite hot a few times. So I'm curious if my battery is actually degraded and I want to see if the 1900 Seidio is worth the cash. Should be arriving today sometime. So after a full charge and a battery recal, I should know.

And I would rather not get the extended batteries. I want something that will fit into my current case.

Android Central has the battery on sale today

Deal of the Day: Seidio Innocell 1900mAh Slim Extended Battery for HTC EVO 3D | Android Central

I've read some things about it, but do you guys think its worth picking up?

Thanks in advance!

I think this is a better deal. I get a about 10% more than OEM battery.

LINK :D Sensation and Evo 3D batteries are the same physical size. They also have 1 battery or 2 batteries + charger. According to batteryboss.org Seidios are about 85% of rating.

If you're going to do it, you might as well go BIG. Since I've had my 4000mah battery, I've NEVER had an issue with running out of juice in just one day... And that's with 10 hours of straight usage on a Saturday. I'd be lucky if I even get to 50% during that time.

Sure it's a little bulkier, but who the hell cares. If your friends and family are giving you grief over a slightly thicker phone, then they need to find something else more important to protest.

Not many people like the look of the larger battery back doors...But the GG isn't bad at all...The Seidio is of course a bit bigger in size...(especially opposed to stock)...I can carry the phones in my pocket but I use cases with belt loops...I really like the Dickie's cases...Either battery setup fits easily in both cases...I did carry my old 4G in my pocket but scratched up the Gorilla Glass anyway ...I don't use Screen Savers...And I don't like the huge cases like Otter Box...With built in screen protectors...I swap out batteries maybe three times during the week gettin 2 to 2 1/2 days on charges...I like to know I can get completely all day charges without worryin about it dyin...

But...to each his own...

The cases I use...

The only thing missin is the kickstand...which I'd like to have...hopefully they will make one for either case which I will definitely buy...

I totally agree...for the price difference between the 1900 and the GG (Which is now $27 ...Its a no brainer...)

I look at it this way... why inch your way up to having more power, when you can irradicate that problem in one huge brush stroke. It's unfortunate that the physics of battery technology can be changed, so we just have to go with what we can. In an image conscious society such as ours, it's difficult for some to change from that way of thinking.

...For me, I'd rather go with function over form. But that's just my preference.

I use my kickstand 3 times out of 5 uses of my phone. Plus some of the pants pockets I put my phone into can barely hold the phone as it is. So, for some of us, form is function. I could not do what I do with my phone in it's current form factor if I increased the battery compartment size and lost my kickstand.

But I do understand your argument. I hate belt holsters. Which is another reason why the big battery is not an option. I have no desire to look like the people who own blackberries and iphones that tout their phones in those little holsters. My Android will always go in a pocket.

I have to agree with you on belt holsters too. So in that regard, I'm the same as you and refuse to conform to getting one when I find them unattractive and remniscent of the cell phones and beeper cases of the late 80's and 90's... I do miss not having the kickstand however, and I can certainly switch out my 4000mah for my stock battery at any given time. But because I value my 3DVO to the utmost, I want to have as few possibilities of damaging it as possible. And by that, I mean opening the case and changing out my battery often. So I find it easier to just let it be.

Yes, my relaxed fit jeans pockets are somewhat bulky, but not to the point of it being uncomfortable when I walk or sit. That much is tolerable. It's sitting for an extended amount of time that makes me want to remove it. But considering that minor inconvenience and the missing kickstand from my Seidio case, I can live with it's current looks and function.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against standard sized batteries. I just personally like to optimize all the features this device has to offer, with as few power and storage space interruptions as possible. And if that means being a little inconvenienced with a slightly oversized case, then I'm okay with that.

I have the kickstand option if I use the old stock battery or the 1900 (purchased that thru Seidio)...But since I have the 3500 and 4000 I haven't gone back to it...Hoping Seidio will cum up with one for the 4000...

I carried the EVO 4G in my pocket at times at work and because of no screen protection I had sum scratches on screen...refused to get the screen protector cause the one I did purchase made the phone less touch responsive...

I too use the phone to its full capabilities and want a battery that will let me do this all day and not worry at all about chargin it...And I'm a Maintenance Mechanic so the case I have to have so I won't damage the phone in my pocket...

But I totally understand the way you feel and how you want to carry your phone and what type battery your comfortable with...
but those aren't options for me...

I'm definitely happy that we have these accessory companies that give us a choice though...
