One of the mirrors is down (awesomazing.com) until I get my internet turned on, I was going to go offsite with all the mirrors, but unfortunatly the GIT server is housed on awesomazing, so I cant even add or change content until I get the internet turned back on, sorry guys. it MAY be back online around the 5th, but I have ALOT of other bills more important than comcast

savoxis and j2cool2012, the look of velocity 1.2 is exquisite! amazing amazing look and theme you've made. wish it would live on in future android phones, i'm itching for the day to upgrade from my ally, but what you guys have done is something i would love to take with me.

i'm guessing since ADWlauncher is built into the framework, it can't be safely uninstalled, right? I am a Launcher Pro user so I have that loaded up.

You CAN uninstall it, but then the ADWLauncher Settings option will still be in the settings menu, and it will FC if you try it

It's been an amazing journey with you guys. Being a tester is an honor, and I just want to say thank you for all of this. Even though this is the LAST Velocity more than likely, it has some great competition. I hope to build a ROM of my own some day and I wish you all good luck with this ROM. On a side note, I will have a video of a special app I've been porting along with J2cool that I think you guys will enjoy. Here's a hint: No more needing to wipe to change ROMs Now get to flashing

Just an FYI to all, v1.2 does not come with a calendar app (at least, there wasn't in mine) so you'll have to download one or flash the stock. Also, the Messaging app that it comes with from Cyanogen, while completely awesome. Does not receive audio recordings correctly. It translates the AMR file that you get from someone into a Q... crap i forgot.. Q something.. it's a qualcomm file format that android hates. so if you want MMS to work correctly, you need to use the stock app.. which sucks, but it works.

UPDATE:
QCP is the file format. It's strange, if i send an audio recording to myself, it saves correctly as an amr. but if i get it from my wife who is using stock messaging, my messaging app translates it into qcp. anyways, this was an identical problem as what velocity 1.1 had, and I told death2all all about it. The only way to fix it was to flash the stock messaging app. I'm trying to confirm whether that is still the correct fix here.

UPDATE2:
Yes, by changing the messaging app back to stock, the audio recording sent to me works fine now.

as i was perusing through the install apps, i saw adobe flash 10... couldn't open it and could get flash to work on browser... was it just a try? or is there really a way to get it work?

Wow... StormDroid and Velocity 1.2 back to back! I feel like I'm in Ally heaven. Now I have a choice to make, which is difficult for me because I lack the ability to make decisions between things I like, ie: i'm still hungry because I couldn't decide what to make for breakfast.

Once again thank you savoxis and the entire Velocity team for your hard work. I would have smashed my phone into a thousand pieces and bought something else by now if I didn't have the exquisite software you guys have provided for it... can't thank you enough.

You can expect some beer money from me in the near future.

It's a hacked adobe flash player for arm6 processors. It's far from perfect, but some sites work. Try using different browsers, it might work.

The calendar function is very essential for me, so can you please answer a question for me? I use aftermarket calendar apps ("PimlicalA" and also Calendar Snooze) to access my Google Calendar and handle reminder alarms, but I had thought that the stock calendar was a necessity in order for the aftermarket calendar apps to work. Can I simply run those apps with no 'stock' calendar at all and continue on as things have been for me reminder alarm-wise?

IIRC, when I first switched from using Launcher Pro to ADW, I did have them both installed at the same time, in case I wanted to switch back. I just had to select that ADW was now going to be primary, and Launcher Pro sat quietly on the sideline. So you can likely do the opposite, I would think.

Sorry though unless alot of other people are using Mms to send audio I think the features of Cyan mms outweigh audio files.

Awesome work on another amazing rom and for that I thank the velocity team. Got the calander back from a backup from titanium I made and everything looks great so far, loving the theme.
