I need more details on whats involved with this...I just love the clean look (somewhat had this with my Evo, but have yet to tinker with my Galaxy).
It reminds me of something I had using Launcher Pro Plus...is that what you used? You also referenced WidgetLocker, is that just for the lockscreen you posted, or is that involved here as well?

On a side note, I purchased LPP with my old phone, but it does not show up as one of my paid apps in Google Market...anyway to get this without buying it again?

Unless you've cleared it out, you should still have an email from info@launcherpro.com that contains your unlock code. Install the free version form the Market, get into the prefs and enter your key. If you've lost the email, just shoot them a note at the same address and they'll help you.

Oh I'm sorry. Well,

It works well with either LP or Go Launcher EX. Personalty I use Go Launcher EX because I love the animations of everything.

The app Simple Text from the Market is what I use to create the text icons.

Widget Locker is what I use for my lock screen and I peak in the widget locker theme thread over at XDA to see what's new and what I may be able to use in my own likings.

why would i do that .... some of my programs run in the backround for 10-18 hours straight if i dont kill them

I'm not at my computer right now. Maybe someone else can refer him to some of the many threads that describe the android operating system.

The short answer is that android is not windows.

When I get back home, I will post up my most recent battery usage screen photo. 20 hours of moderate to heavy usage. No task killer.

thanks ... i deleted the TK last night before i went to work and i had my battery at 98% and restarted my phone ... i get to check my phone maybe like 2-3 times an hour to send a text or check a sports score but to be honest .. i seen no change and lost 25% - 30% battery life like i usually do in 3 hours at work sending maybe 10 texts in those 3 hours with like 5 min. of internet use .. im coming from a mogul/touch pro 2/epic 4g (which i messed around with .. put new roms on and all) .. now im not saying the NO TK didnt change anything ... but with all the small specs like syncing off-gps off-wifi off-and less then 20 installed apps .. i still am losing a good chunk of life .. i also understand poor reception gets u also with the radio transferring data back and forth ... i took my phone off the charger this morning from a 99% .. didnt send one text or call .. NOTHING .. didnt check it once while playin football ... had 1 missed call after 2 hours when i got to check it .. battery was at 79% .. i did a system reset (2 times) once i got the phone .. thinking might have to do it again just to make sure

That sure sounds abnormal. Have you put anything on your phone that could result in increased battery usage? Perhaps you could take a screen shot of your battery graph like the ones below.

Here is a shot of my 21.5 hour usage, with 20.5 on battery. If you look at the second graph, you will see that I put it on charge twice when I was driving to my office at about 20+ minutes each. (During my drive, I use an app called "Waze" that sucks the battery for GPS and constant feedback to the website, so it's plugged in.)

Other than about these two charges and one charge when I went to the theater at ten minutes, the phone was on battery. I used the phone moderately during the day: about 30+ minutes on the phone, surfing the web on 4G for about a hour total, reading and drafting emails throughout the day, and a few downloads and uploads of photos. I would suggest that these results should be typical of what you can expect with an Epic 4G Touch.

I have downloaded about 50 - 60 apps.
