V2.5
Recompiled from the major update to the source thanks to Slayher and the CM Team.
Added Sense NetworkLocation.apk to fix GPS issues hopefully
DROD OMFGB BFS Kernel V1.0....seems to reduce lock screen lag.
More tweaks to buld.prop and gps.conf
Added custom TH3ORYROM Boot Animation
Threw in some DROID notifications and ringtones
Added new market 3.1.5
Added Honeycomb lock screen font

I'm running this and it's pretty awesome. I came from blacksourc3 and this rom feels much more snappy. It may be the kernel which does actually seem to have reduced lockscreen lag. Also when making calls the screen auto turns off/on when placed up to your ear. Blacksourc3 wouldn't do this and it was quite annoying. 2.5.1 came out yesterday.

I'm running 2. 5.1 right now and I really like it. It feels very snappy. I was wondering if you can under clock under volt this or if I need a different kernal. I really like this Rom so far, everything I've tried to use works. For some reason on cm7 I couldn't text or make calls, kept saying I was out of the service area but this is working great so far. I love the battery icon, no going into settings to see how much juice I got left.

What kernal do I need to under volt? I really like this Rom, trying to squeeze some more juice out of my battery
Can I use lean kernal

Imoseyon 3.7.1 AOSP kernel the only one I can confirm. I prefer it myself (only in extreme mode) and I've always been a big fan of Kangbang (name prior to changing it to Drod) AOSP kernels.

I'll look into that 3.7.1 kernal. The better battery life I can get the better. I saw there was a option of 1.4 ghz and undervolted. I wonder if it saves battery life or if the undervolt evens out the over clock. I'll give it a shot in the morning, so far I like this Rom the best. Everything works and its snappy quick

I haven't checked any of that stuff, I don't have a Bluetooth headset so I can't check that but I can check the file sharing over Bluetooth. I'll check tether and gps later when I have another phone by me

Thanks man. I saw different posts, one was none of that stuff worked only with 627 radio.

The Bluetooth audio was random problem.

Lol i will try real quick. If you are on the stock rom or a sense rom go to google maps and start the gps, get it to lock on your location. Like input directions to go somewhere and start the navigation it will LOCK on your location

That makes a lot of sense. I thought it meant something other than literally enabling a GPS lock. Damn English language.

After you do that go ahead and flash your rom and you should be good. I forgot to do it and when I tried to use maps today it said I was miles away from my actual location

So to be completely clear, to achieve a GPS lock:

1. Open Google Maps.
2. Wait for it to find your location.
3. Once location is found, you are locked.
4. Close Google Maps.
5. Flash the ROM.

Correct?

Yeah that should work, be sure to check to make sure you have a lock after you reboot once flashed, you should be always good to be sure before you check the weather and see it has you in the wrong country
