I have had no issues with my Charge but my girlfriend has had some issues with hers. Hers seems to be overheating and sometimes it takes awhile for the screen to come on when hitting the power button. I rooted my phone the day I got it and am currently running the new voodoo kernel on it. Some seem to have some issues but I got lucky this time around.

Mine is rebooting sometimes for no reason. Plus when it reboots, some (approx 7-10 apps are then corrupted). This has happened a few times and I am perplexed.

Is yours rooted? Mine is rooted and running only a few apps. I have disabled ATK and CPU Tuner to see if this helps but it looks like there may be another issue with the actual FS. May do an ODIN restore if this keeps up.

Oh...also I have whiped both Davlik Cache and regular cache and done a full reset to factory and had same issue.

FYI I am ED1 stock as well. Did not install ED2 udpate

I wish this were helpful as I am having the rebooting issue very often. But, your post is too full of acronyms to tell the average user anything useful. Sorry. Don't mean to be too critical, but I was hoping to learn what's wrong and what fixes it. Most people want to actually USE their smart phones, not play around testing geek stuff.

No rebooting problems with my charge. If it were, the first thing I'd do is power it off, then on, if still persisting; then I'd do a factory data reset under, settings > privacy.

So far the only problem other than weak wifi reception, is the Angry Birds icon kept moving to the first app screen. Easy fix for that annoyance was to delete the app. Now I use Go Launcher and that probably would have fixed it as well.

YES, YES, AND YES!!! So glad someone has created this post! I got my 2nd Charge last week Tuesday. The original that I lur chased from Verizon on the 14th of August CONSTANTLY Rebooted and froze! I did about 3-5 Factory Resets! On top of that, I was rooted and I flashed two different ROMS and still had the same issue! I un-rooted and it STILL randomly booted after freezing or lagging. My new Charge didn't start doing that until a few days after getting it. I finally called CS over the weekend I think it was and the guy told me it was probably because of how many apps I have and some apps themselves. I told him I was using thee exact same apps I had on my MyTouch 4G when I was with T-mobile and that never happened with them.

He told me to uninstall all my apps and wipe my SD Card. Also, to re-install an app one-by-one and that way I could keep track and see which was causing the issue. I backed up my SD Card before wiping it. I did a Factory Reset and installed my apps one at a time. I also downloaded another virus app protector as a backup to the Lookout Mobile.

It's been a week now and my phone hasn't Rebooted since doing that. (FINGERS CROSSED!) I also didn't move any of my apps to my SD Card this time like I usually do. To say if I had a corrupted app, or corrupt app on my SD CARD, IDK for sure. I'm just thankful it's not happening anymore.

***I'll be glad when we do get the official GB Update because I have yet to enjoy the snappiness and speed of this device because there's a little delay when switching apps or doing other functions. And I choose not to root this phone right now...***

My phone rebooted twice today! I'm past this phone and over it but I wouldn't know what to get!!?! I Love the screen and the HDMI capability. This is my 2nd one (1st Replacement from my original), now and I don't feel like going thru the hassle of sending for another one. These last set of random reboots really shocked me b/c I just done a Factory Reset yesterday!

Mine has now been 5 days with no reboot. I think that it could be a problem with random Charge phones? Could be an app, but like I said it has been 5 days since I activated a "new" factory refurb and no reboots.....I hope it stays that way.

Try another refurb.....and when you get the new one load all of your apps from the market fresh.....just in case it is a corrupted app.
