Speaking of rants, the folks here are far more and better behaved than those of us who were involved in the epoch Incredible thread. Just sayin'.
Guys I took a quick pic of the Prime for everyone. I was in a gun shop today when I saw this guy playing on this unrecognizable phone. I went up to him and asked "what kind of phone do you have?"
He quickly shoved it in his pocket and told me to leave him alone. I told him I was a gadget freak and was just curious what kind of phone he was using because I've never seen it before. He looked around pulled his cap real low and said "follow me."
He led me to the back of the store and told the clerk to "give us some privacy please."
He told me he needed to pat me down and check for any kind of audio recording device. I was caught off guard and said "What?" He got defensive and said "No pat down no see." I complied.
He told me that I would only be able to get one pic and not handle it. I told him that I wanted to see the UI and "about" screen as well. I was met with a stern "No. One picture and that's it" So at the risk of blowing any chance I had of even seeing the phone and sharing it with you all I decided to agree. At the back of the gun shop there are various Moose Heads, Elk etc etc you know taxidermy stuff. There was this nice rabbit skin so I asked if I could set up the phone and make it look "nice" He looked at me like I was weird and told me "Whatever man, just hurry up and take the picture."
He then unpocketed the beauty and to my surprise it wasn't an entirely different looking phone from the Nexus S BUT it did have a huge screen. I will go so far as to say it is probably the reported size of 4.65". It looked VERY large. So I am going to say it is at least 4.65"
Again I didn't get to unlock the phone or jump into it at all. I set up the phone snapped the shot and he snatched the phone up and was gone.
I watched him quickly leave in a blacked out Suburban. So without further adieu.........
