Where is the car dock?

I don't know...but i'd be happy if they would finally release a car charger. Amazing to me that they have a phone that can be very battery hungry and no car charger.

I would imagine a official car charger would be released with the car dock..but can't you buy one that has the same input such as this?

I bought that exact car charger, works great. The Nexus One uses microusb to charge, you don't need any official charger. Does HTC even have their own branded chargers?

Would the Motorola Droid car dock work with the Nexus One? I think their the same size? All I need is something to hold my phone up by the vents or windshield..

Does GPS come through if you have it down by the shifter in the center console?

There's tons of generic mounts.
Proclip even has 3 for the Nexus One.

I bet he paid every bit of $35 or so, the one I linked to Amazon has a total of $7.25.

As far as your "Let me Google that for you" way to be a smart ass, not every car dock is going to fit the Nexus One. If any at all.

Any micro usb car charger will work. True there are better quality chargers than others but they all basically do the same job. Just because it's officil doesn't mean it will be free of issues.

So far I haven't used the gps to go more than 10 miles. I don't have a car charger; I'm waiting on the car dock as well.

$65 is a good price to you for a car dock? Please..whatever you are smoking on pass me some.

The branded Motorola Droid car dock is only $29.99, yet this off brand company wants $65? Please.

And as far as your Best Buy link..those are all $25+ not including TAX.

I bought a Rocketfish one from Best Buy and it works great as well. The coiled power cable is really high quality. Also, you get a peak at the car dock in this Nexus One Documentary

And the one I got from Best buy was 21.99

I got a handy USB charging kit for Xmas, gives me a useful spare and a car charger that seems to do the job.

Made by Mountech whoever that may be.

Micro-USB car charger at Target for $14.95. Works like a champ. Use the Nav (while waiting for the official dock) by sticking it in an unused cup holder and having it talk to me. Not quite champ-like but acceptable for now. I've compared it, in action, with my car's standard GPS. I probably won't get a GPS next car (unless I have to to get BlueTooth or a good sound system).

What about people that DON'T have a flat surface on their dash and don't want it on their windshield? :/ Hell..it looks to short to even have it on your windshield anyway.
