Thank you!

I've just read through the last 5 pages after getting home from work and haven't heard a single disappointed person. IMO, the on screen buttons are UGLY, the bottom bezel is too large and completely pointless if there are on screen buttons, and I'm not a fan of the rounded corner. I'm sure it will look better in an official press shot, but I'm secretly praying this is actually a Nexus S running ICS with the normal physical buttons turned off. Really wanted to get this phone (have been waiting months with my upgrade for something great to come out), but may have to use it on the Vigor or Droid HD

I guess only time will tell...
No use getting disappointed right now. Nobody knows what model number this phone is. Could be the Nexus could be Verizons phone. Wait until something more revealing drops.

I may go with HD/Spyder/RAZR for form factor alone...but only if it has a decent camera...and ICS. Otherwise it's Prime all the way!

FWIW, the bezel and space on top and bottom of phone IS useful for holding the phone and not hitting buttons. Another poster had pointed that out and I hadn't thought of that before.

Judging from pics of it revealing capacitive buttons, I doubt that the HD/whatever will have ICS.

So. . .it's Prime all the way! Right?

now, we just need SharonW, and the circle would be complete! [inside joke]

i would also say that i'm not a huge fan of the form factor, at least what we can tell from that pic. i'll admit that i generally prefer the more boxy/industrial design of Moto devices. but, i wouldn't mind something a little sleeker and smoother, just as long as it was distinctive. i just don't get "distinctive" when i look at that pic.

yeah, i don't think there's any way the Spyder releases with ICS. i would tend to think it would get updated to ICS fairly quickly, but not right out of the box.

To each his/her own, I guess. Samsung and HTC have similar designs IMO. Moto HD is pretty sweet looking, but it doesn't have specs close to the Prime and most importantly, it probably will not run ICS (at least initially). I want the latest and greatest. If that means it comes in a design similar to the Nexus S or SGSII, I can live with that.

Back on topic.... This is my personal preference but I love the look of SGS2. Nexus S, not so much.
