We should start calling him Vir. (from B5...anyone, anyone...)

"Vir! You moonfaced assasin of joy!"

I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up at your lifeless eyes and wave like this.

It's not confusing.

Believe NOTHING until there is a full pic (blurry cams count) that will be verified through solid sources.

But, what fun would that be? ;) The reason we're all here is to get excited about any rumor/piece of info regardless of validity that comes out all the way up to release day about our precious Prime. I know, I only have myself to blame!

There's nothing wrong with being a pessimist. It just gets annoying to see every rumor, the only thing we have to go on, be shot down because we don't know the model numbers. If these phones are as similar as some would lead us to believe, they will probably be nearly identical in looks, leaving the model number only a matter of semantics. trust me, most of us here will be far more excited about a leaked photo over the model numbers.

We all know to take anything leaked with a grain of salt. No need for ck to constantly remind us. And no, I'm not trying to troll ck. From what I've read of his posts on here, he seems to generally be a knowledgeable guy.

Yeah, now it's time for Google/Samsung to strike back next week. iPhone4S should be easy one to beat. I wonder what the atmosphere at Google, Samsung mobile headquarters are like now.

I bet it's a "STFU" type attitude so they can keep things on lock but I'm sure there's some serious excitement in the air and people that are working overtime to keep their lips sealed. It's gotta be hard to keep something like ICS quiet when your hands are on it daily and you're one of the first people to know exactly what it offers.

Google folks are probably popping the cork and celebrating!

The Nexus Prime, like this thread, is quickly going BEYOND "Epic" and easing toward "Legendary". By the time next Tuesday afternoon rolls around, I think both will be considered by many as being downright mythological.

I sure hope so.

EDIT: My teenage son would be quick to call it "uber-legit". Yeah, whatever :p

Guys, I have a strong feeling that October 2011 will be remembered as when the iPhone stopped being competitive. It's sad, really.

This industry is moving so freaking fast, that whatever you come out with better be superior to what's coming out next month.

This pile of crap that Apple just excreted on their customer base wouldn't even beat out the Galaxy S II, let alone the Prime.

What is really mind bending to me at least............16 months and this is the best they can do?.................oh well......................3G to a 3GS...........now a 4 to a 4S............................unreal!

Apple iPhone 4S makes its way through the FCC? -- Engadget

This is what I thought I remembered with regard to FCC filings. Somehow, Apple either strikes a deal with the FCC to keep it on the DL until they announce it, or they're just that confident their phone will pass that they wait until after they announce to submit it to the FCC. So, what we have here is only a 10 day lag from passing FCC to release. Samsung/Google could be doing the same thing. We may see our beloved Prime pass through FCC just in time, next Tuesday evening.
