Addon Boot Shutdown animation removes the virgin mobile boot shutdown and sounds
and adds the droid sound and a cooler shutdown. Works with my theme should work with stock rom (use at risk) Doubt it will work with custom roms.

Give your opinion on what is broke hate ugly what I can do to to make it better.

I can also do a black Blue header and pulldown instead of the purple what you think?

I was trying to keep it flexible so lots of different wallpaper widgets clocks etc will work with the theme

If I currently have TickerGuy's ROM on triumph, can I just backup, then flash the deoxed ROM right over top of it, and if I don't like it, can i just put TG's overtop of it?
Kind of a noob, so i figured I'd ask 1st!

ok. I wiped everything before flashing this 'rom' or 'theme'. this was very beautiful and i wanted to keep it. the first thing i noticed was that i lost Root privaleges. I had to re-root. that was no biggy. but, after restoring my apps thru Titanium, it was fine until i rebooted my phone. after i came back to my home screen, it went back to stock. I tried this twice, and the 2nd time, i re-arranged my homescreen and added widgets and such. after i rebooted, it went back to my stock, lost root, and everything. I was just wondering if there was a fix for this. I don't wanna do and hour worth of re-arranging and rooting every time i reboot my phone!
its just a pain in the butt!
but it is very nice! and i will use for my everyday and donate if there is a fix for this!

Its a theme yes you will lose root because of the detox.

But I dont understand the backup restore of your apps sounds like Titanium is doing a complete restore of systems + data. If you have just a backup of the data only side should be fine.
This is a theme so you will lose root but just gingerbreak it again.
Also if somehow the cm7 kernel gets reinstalled it will kill the theme bring it back stock.
This was a CM7 backup you went and reinstall thru titanium?
If so I dont think the backup will work because of the gingerbread build.

@hi5five: Shouldn't you just be able to keep the /data partition unchanged? Unless something big and major is happening with it?

Otherwise, using Gingerbreak as an app restores root easily enough, although it /would/ be nice if all ROMs came with the assumption you want root.

By theory yes but not sure about mixing different builds froyo gingerbread sinclair honeycomb. as long as the rom is built off the same build should be able to keep data intact.( Froyo systems and ginderbread data may not work without a bunch of problems) The root would have to be added to the detoxed rom not sure if possible. Now a custom rom root can be added, but a theme is another question. To me a stock rom with a theme is most reliable then a brew from the ground rom.
maybe someone smarter then me will chime in and give us the scoop.

thats what it was! I was doing a system app+user data, and it was from cm7 data that was clashing with the 2.2! I really, really like this theme, and i have gone from tickerguy's gingy to this theme. I really like that i can use Metamorph now, coz i couldn't use it with his!

Well, truth be told, if you could do a blue drop down for notifications, that'd be cool...since ive been using metamorph finally, i can add my own backgrounds and such! great, great theme!!!
