Can't flash 3gw100

Hi everyone,

I just got the following problem. I'm the owner of 3GW100 (it was LEOS 1.0.1 I guess) and I wanted to update my phone with LeOS 2.0. After reading tons of forums I tried to update it via image folder on the micro sd card. And it was no luck at all (after rebooting the phone went to fastboot mode only, no actual update was involved no matter what I tried).

Next thing I tried is to fastboot it (I tried several different firmwares from official to custom ones). Now the problem is that no firmware is working for me, in other words the phone does not boot (the Lenovo logo shows on the screen and stays there forever).

I can flash anything via fastboot at the moment, it's just I stuck totally. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Strange, done it times without problem with Leos.
Remove your battery after your power-down and re-try.

If you are doing fastboot, then suggest you rename image folder in sd to another name first.

I had a problem with pc not recognising phone in fastboot which was resolved in this thread:

Need your help to point whether I miss out anything with the fastboot installation ie device drivers.

Thanks.

Don't worry about it as I have resolved the drivers issues. Anyone having the same problems with fastboot drivers, then the appropriate drivers can be found here: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&at tach_rel_module=post&attach_id=66762

Gingerbread is humming along faster than Leos, but vanilla keyboard is really not for human.

Thanks, but it's not what I meant actually.

My system stayed old (Leos 1.0.1) as I could not update it.
Then I did the following:

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot reboot

and I got only "Lenovo" logo on the screen and nothing else.

I flashed using android sdk tool flashboot.exe in admin mode. And I can flash it again, but the result is the same - nothing happens. I'm trying to figure out if anything can be done with the phone.
