android assistant or super tool box?

Based on input for another question I had, I'm wondering if anyone here has used both these apps and can recommend one over the other: Android Assistant or Super Tool Box. They seem similar when I look at the market, but am not sure which one would be better and why. TIA!

Super Tool Box has more funtions. I used it before I switched to Android Assistant, just because Android Assistant uses about 1/4 less space than Super Tool Box. But if your phone is rooted, an extra 2mb on your phone's memory space shouldn't hurt. So I would recommend Super Tool Box. If υ don't like it, υ can always uninstall it and try Android Assistant next.

OK, I downloaded Super Tool Box, and I don't understand what to do with it and was hoping there was a "help" with instructions, LOL. So where do I see my RAM? i click "memory/cpu" and see two pie charts at the top. one says memory and the other cpu. memory shows "free" and "total." is that my RAM? at bottom of that screen there are three buttons, "set," "free memory," and "more." do you know what they do?

Yup the pie chart shows your phone's RAM. The green colored section is how much RAM is free/available. If your phone lags and υ noticed there's less than 100mb free RAM on the chart, tap the Free Memory button. The Free Memory Button should help improve your phone's performance and prevent lags.

2. Process manager (Auto boost and Quick boost can distinguish different types of processes thus will not kill fatal system processes and apps in ignore list).

I've been using this for 4 months with no ill affects because of how it does things.

OK, so I tried super tool box for a week and wasn't in love with it, so i downloaded android assistant today. there don't seem to be any instructions with it and i don't understand all the functions.

can you explain things to me a bit? what is quick boost? how is it different from the task killer? i did find a setting menu where i can select apps i don't want killed...just don't understand when/how apps get killed and if i should even be doing that.

any input you could give me on the aa functionality would be greatly appreciated!

When you first open up the app,go to menu/settings you will find the ignore list there. If you hit the quick boost it will do as previously mentioned. I really don't use the process option(it's just a task killer,but doesn't work that well on some apps). The Tools option is pretty much self explanatory,nothing complicated there.
