help! I accidentally deleted my stock email

So I have the sholes uploader. I was on 2.0.2 but decided to go to 2.0.3.I forgot to uncheck email now Ive deleted it. Is there a way to get it back?

here's the email.apk out of one of pete's oem nandroid backups: Email.apk

if you don't trust me then here's the link to the one i pulled it out of: Index of /pete/OEM

"20100131-2243" is the one i pulled this out of. you're using sholes so is it safe to assume you know where this goes and how to put it there?

first get rooted. here's a good guide to walk you through that: Obtaining Root | Root Your Droid

then you can get adb from the sdk: Android SDK | Android Developers

once you have adb installed you can then do what fabolous said and mount /system as read/write and use adb to push the files into /system/app.
Im already rooted. I used the sholes app to root my phone. I just accidentally deleted all the built in apps I actually use. No Im not a tech person. So let me understand this right. I just hit your link download this abd(whatever that is) and then use it to put the apks on my phone? Do I download it to my phone or computer. Sorry Im not tech savy and dont wanna screw anything up.

You just did it right? Why don't you just reinstall the sholes rom and make sure you check the right stuff? If you don't know how to do/are uncomfortable with all that other stuff they're telling you.
That was my immediate first thought but when I went to click on it it was highly recomended that I dont reflash the same rom again

i use bugless beauty so i wasn't sure what sholes included. but yeah, this is definitely the easiest thing to do if all the stock apps you want are on there.

so if you're rooted you can just put the email.apk and the amazonMP3.apk onto your sdcard. you can download a terminal emulator from the market and use that to remount /system as read/write. then you can just copy the files from the sdcard to /system/app.
that sounds kinda easy. so I download a terminal emulator then open the app, mount my droid then drag and drop? is that all I have to do?
