Droid RAZR Battery Question

Ok, so Motorola Claims 12.5 hours of battery life with the RAZR. Does the 12.5 hours of battery life come out of the box? Or do we get the 12.5 hours of battery life from using Motorola's battery saving app, "Smart Action"? I hope it's out of the box.

maybe 6 hours with a lot of data and calls. Who knows. plan on a mophie like battery pack for this phone. Bill

It says 12.5 hours of talk time. Thats only part of the story. If that holds true overall it could have good battery life. But LTE is still a big battery drainer right now. I'm sure, like the post above me says, it will be less than 12.5 hours when you use it for more than talking.

Some might not believe it but the Bionic overall has the best battery life of all the LTE phones on Verizon right now. Biggest difference is talk time by a huge margin vs. the other phones.

My guess is that the 12.5 hours of talk time is screen off, LTE off, and the battery saving software running in an extreme savings mode. I'd also guess that the video playback time is for onboard video, not streamed. It's still nothing to sneeze at.

Sadly, I agree. I hope I'll have enough juice in the battery to and from work with some to spare.
