***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

I was hoping for the 10th... that's the day after my 40th birthday and heading home from a Verizon store with a Galaxy Nexus would have been a nice "Happy Birthday to me" present. Oh well, I can certainly wait one more week. I'm not in THAT much of a rush to spend $300.

I guess we will find out in a few weeks if thats true.

Hey I wouldn't mind shelling out for some beers and chicken wings! Will have to wait until at least late Spring (Jersey weather and all). And by then, we might all hate each other, who knows.

I love that time lapse feature. It'll be cool to have it pointed up at the stars and watch the constellations move.

Nope. A lot of reports indicate 11/10, which is my gut feeling, but BMX expressed this morning that he keeps giving out a date and no one listens to him. His info is 11/3, and he has a lot of credibility.

I think 11/17 is possible, but highly unlikely. Don't worry.

I have no doubt that he knows what he's saying. Unfortunately, things do change with releases, and he's had to change his story a wee bit.

Interesting thought. And now with the Re-crappy-name being announced on the 3rd, it will probably release on the 10th. Where that leaves the SGN, I have no idea.

Hoping they release the razor on the 27th, SGN on the 3rd, and the Re-crap on the 10th.

I don't think VZW is as invested in the rezound as they are the RAZR; Moto and VZW are bosom-buds. I think we will see the G-Nex before the Rezound. If HTC does announce the Rezound on the 3rd, it will be to try and steal away potential G-Nexers before they actually buy the G-Nex, much like VZW is trying to pull by offering the RAZR before giving us info on the G-Nex. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, I bet we're either preordering on the 3rd or at least know when we can by the 3rd. Now I just hope I'm not wrong....

I don't think you're wrong. I'm pretty sure that mine will either be ordered and shipping or bought and in my hands by the 10th.

Re-crappy-name has been surprisingly silent on the rumor mill the last couple of weeks, for some reason. BMX says it's a great phone. Personally, I'm not giving it a second look, but it'll be great for Sense lovers.

I tell people all the time it depends on where you are. I'm extremely spoiled by being in my area. I have 4 malls for shopping within 25 miles (2 within 10). Can access just about all major highways in under 15 or 20 minutes. And can be in NYC in under an hour (20 minutes no traffic, driving; 60 minutes on the train).

I think the official announcement just said "november". I think it was the Love Tunnel who said "early November".

Sounds like you somewhere near Bergen county then. I am on the northern end of Hudson county and I am just being a pain. I honestly love living in NJ, but the traffic around my area is awful (near the Lincoln Tunnel).

I will do you one better, I closed on our house in the AM, had the furniture delivered at noon, and got married that evening. I was exhausted... but not too exhausted

Depends on the demand in your area. The last phone I know of that caused major shortages was the Droid Incredible. People were sending family members to stores that had them....in towns 30 and 40 minutes away.

I don't know if they sell out. I am either there ultra early or I order online
Don't worry Han (s) I will be there at opening, plus they love me because I always pay retail so I get the hook up lol
