You replaced a Samsung Galaxy SII with a Nokia N8! :D:D:D

The year old, under powered, Nokia N8, was one of the last Symbian based smart phones that Nokia made prior to ditching the platform in favour of Microsoft. A truly awful phone in my opinion. I was given a brand new one to test and after the 3 month test was over, I got shot of it on eBay very quickly.

The N8, as I mentioned, runs on the Symbian platform, whilst the SGSII is an Android phone. It also boasts only one quarter of the RAM of the SGSII.

As for the, "blue shadow" when browsing, this is a feature of the latest firmware and indicates the edge of the page!

I would take the N8 back and get another SGSII quickly. :D

Bought some N8's for the office like a year or so back and everyone loved it at the time until they realised the tiny keys were no match for their big fingers, even the keyboard on the screen. My son was able to port Android on to one that I eventually gave him from a frustrated user as we were getting rid of them anyway. We have now switched to the S and as I write this message a shipment of S2's are on the way with some Tabs 10.1 and some 55" 3D monitors. I have an S2 (personal) and is loving every minute of it. Can't wait to get the 32GB TransFlash to put in it and have all the applications there instead of on the phone.
